RDLPH TH RD NSD RNDR, HD A VRY SHNY NS... Nope, text messaging and Christmas don't go that well together, except when you're sending drunken festive greetings to all and sundry after an afternoon on the port.

But OrangePixel hopes to change this with its new game SupaSanta. It's based on the same concept as its game Thumb-It, which is a hybrid of texting and the dance rhythm games that you get on the consoles.

In SupaSanta, your fast finger skills are used to make sure Santa delivers as many presents as possible, so as not to ruin Christmas.

OrangePixel says the game will also have an increasing difficulty level, bonus tricks to bag extra points, high score uploading, and 'a super-Xmas tune'.

As long as it's not Girls Aloud's version of 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day', that's fine by us...

Also, SupaSanta is the first OrangePixel game to support something called ClickPayGo, which means you can download the game for free, try it out, and then buy the full thing from the in-game menu.

The shareware version can be found at this link.
