Fly through the stars with up to 5 of your friends in Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator

Earlier in the year, the maker of Spaceteam challenged you and a group of friends to get together and pilot a battered and broken spaceship from A to B without it exploding or being sucked into a warp hole.

It was a hilarious game of nob twiddling and panic that often ended in bouts of swearing and raucous laughter. We promptly gave it a Gold Award.

In Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator, which has been out on iOS since January, your spacecraft-guiding task is somewhat similar to the one in Spaceteam... albeit on a much grander scale.

It's a mixture of live action role-playing and Star Trek-style scenarios, in which you and up to five friends take control of the bridge of a starship.

And if you hadn't already guessed, each person has a distinct role to play in Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator.

So, you might be the engineer, who needs to make sure there's enough power going to the important parts of the ship.

Or you might be the helmsman, who has to navigate through the infinite nothingness of space.

Or you might be the Weapons officer, who shoots things.

Whichever part you play, your Android device displays all the information you need to perform your duties. Unless you're the Captain, that is. In that instance, you're in the middle of things, giving out orders based on what your crew is shouting at you.

As mentioned earlier, the game has been available on iOS devices and PCs for a few months, but it's finally made its way to the Google Play Store.

You can grab Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator from the Google Play Store for £1.93 [buy], or from the App Store for £1.99 / $2.99 [buy].
