We're getting excited about the Olympic Games already - if only because unlike Euro 2008 there'll actually be some English stars to support.

We'll be bringing you details of the official Olympic Games mobile game shortly, and of course we're big fans of Playman Summer Games 3's take on multi-event athletics.

But Spanish developer Mayhem Studio has taken a different approach for its own game, Ancient Games. As the title suggests, it focuses on the roots of the Olympic experience.

In other words: nude men with big biceps. Although in this game they've at least got scraps of cloth to cover their ancient artifacts.

Events include 110m Hurdles, hammer, swimming and javelin, and there'll be a choice of Training or Tournament modes.

Meanwhile, there's also a version on the way that'll allow Bluetooth multiplayer, which as far as we know is a first for this kind of mobile game. It looks like a neat take on the multi-event athletics genre, anyway.
