Glu shows off Alley Gator for iPhone
Reveals some snaps
Glu has been showing off a few of its upcoming iPhone titles on its Facebook page, but it helpfully forgot to include any explanatory text. They do like to make us work, don’t they?
Perhaps the most intriguing title on show is Alley Gator, mainly because we’re not sure quite how it’ll play. As you’ll have read, Spanner seems to think it’ll be a quirky take on the WipEout genre of floaty racers. It reminds me of the special stages on Sonic 2, where you ran around a big tube collecting stuff and avoiding traps.
I’d put money on some kind of tilty interface, as well as the enclosed tube sections causing at least 1000 people to vomit on their swanky new iPhone 3GSs. You heard it here first.
Alley Gator will be released in September for an expected $2.
