Look down, blow up with AirAttack for iPhone
Simple pleasure
You can't beat a good topdown shooter, which is what we'll be hoping for from Slovakian outfit Art In Games, which has released its first iPhone game AirAttack.
As you expect from the title, it's a 3D action arcade game in which you ahem... fly planes and shoot things.
The set up has you playing through eight missions and wiping out 58 enemy types and eight end of level bosses with your various weapons upgrades and special power ups.
My beady eye also spots that the aircraft are modelling on real WWII examples, such as Corsair, Stuka, Zero.
Drop the bombAdding to the general fun and games are destructible environments such as buildings and bridges, realistic physics and high-end graphics.
Enabling you tweak your experience, there are three difficulty settings and four control methods - touch, relative, tilt and joypad.
AirAttack is out now, priced 99c, €0.79 or 59p.
