Best mobile titles to be adapted for the App Store

Qplaze to enter the iPhone market

We heard at the beginning of February that Russian developer Qplaze’s mobile MMO Age of Heroes Online had racked up an impressive 20,000 subscribed players. From within Russia and the Ukraine.

Its parent publishing company, Nomoc, has just revealed its 2008 financial data, which still shows a decrease in revenue from the gaming aspects of its mobile software.

But it also took the opportunity to mention that Qplaze will be entering the iPhone market in 2009, which bodes well for the company reclaiming its position in the games industry. 25 new titles are apparently planned, with the best performing games being adapted to the iPhone.

Although no details have been revealed as to which games these will be, presumably the overwhelming success of Age of Heroes Online will be on the company’s mind for an App Store release at some point, given the inherent connectivity and gaming prowess of Apple’s handset.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
