Kemco releases intriguing-looking time-travelling RPG Aeon Avenger for Android
Fully optimised for the Xperia Play
Kemco has just released time-travelling RPG Aeon Avenger for Android.
In this game, you play as Lake, a young man whose family has been murdered by the mysterious Man in Black and his army of monsters. Naturally, he's pretty miffed about the whole thing, and embarks on a quest for vengeance.
During the course of this journey, he encounters Rean, a tribal girl who holds the ancient secrets of time travel. So, they set out together on "an adventure beyond time and space".
Time-outIt looks as though fans of Japanese RPGs will find plenty to like in Aeon Avenger, including its era-hopping mechanics and cast of oddly named characters.
Much like Square Enix's Chrono Trigger, the game's time-travelling gameplay has you revisiting the same areas in different times and finding them much changed. Kemco hints that "the key to a problem in this era may lie in another time".
Xperia Play owners will be pleased to read that Kemco's latest title is fully optimised for the Play's physical controls, too.
Aeon Avenger is available from the Google Play Store now, priced at £3.99 (roughly $6.30) [download].
