Abracadaball shoots onto mobile

Aim'n'shoot just like Zuma taught you

A mobile game where you spin around firing coloured balls at lots of other coloured balls snaking round the screen in a line? Cor! That's a new concept that... Oh, hang on. It isn't.

Okay, so Abracadaball is obviously heavily influenced by classic casual game Zuma. It's by no means the first mobile game to do this, mind - check out Poppin Panda and Luxor 2, for example.

Anyway, past experience tells us that Gameloft will at least throw plenty of ingredients into the mix to make sure its game isn't just a clone.

So, besides the standard ball-matching puzzling, Abracadaball's magical theme will have you casting spells based on fire, water, earth and wind.

The game promises 66 levels split between nine different environments (and judging by the screenshots, they've gone to town on the graphics).

There'll also be bosses, which is a new thing for this genre, and five different game modes: Quick Start, Story, Survival, Endurance and Boss Rush.

Will it be magic, or a load of old balls? Click 'Track It!' to find out when we review the game.
