7 Days of Apocalypse coming to iPhone

iDracula was iAwesome, as you already know, although if we’re feeling greedy, we’ll admit to wanting some kind of mission structure or storyline to go with it.

Step up 7 Days of Apocalypse. This is a new, 3D shooter from StormBASIC, which looks to blend strong elements from iDracula and the big screen adaptations of Resident Evil.

The ‘S-Virus' has broken out (hmm) and is reanimating the world’s dead. But there’s hope in the form of a scientist who’s close to finding a cure. Your task, as a John Woo-style double gun-wielding hard case, is to protect this scientist while they produce the anti-viral agent.

7 Day of Apocalypse adopts the increasingly popular twin virtual analogue pads ("TVA pads" - you heard it here on Pocket Gamer first), which seems to work very nicely with the other games we’ve used it on. You can also view the game from either a third or first person perspective.

It’s currently going through the App Store submissions process, and should be with us very soon. In the meantime, check out the preview video below. We have a good feeling about this one.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
