Seminal NES platformer Kid Icarus will be first 3D Classics game to get full graphical makeover for 3DS

Kid Icarus is set to swoop onto the Nintendo 3DS early next year with a shiny new set of stereoscopic wings.
This iconic NES platformer will be the first of Nintendo’s 3D Classics to receive a full graphical overhaul, boasting all-new sprites and levels.
While NES favourites like Twinbee and Xevious have already been given a three-dimensional makeover for Ninty's newest handheld, their original 8-bit graphics have been left untouched.
3D Classics: Kid Icarus will land in Nintendo's eShop on January 5th, 2012. To get a sneak peek at the upgraded visuals, check out the video below.
