24: Special Ops brings Jack Bauer to the iPhone

The hit super-series 24 is current broadcasting day seven in Jack Bauer’s unfortunate like (and, we suspect, the last day in his unfortunate life) so Digital Chocolate has brought the CTU team back to life in an iPhone adaptation of its Silver Award-winning 24: Special Ops mobile game.

Naturally you step into the patriotic shoes of rogue agent Jack Bauer in a unique story set within the 24 universe. Here’s what Rob had to say about the mobile version back in January:

“One of the most impressive things about Special Ops is the presentation. Visually, it follows the distinctive art style of the series very closely. Thankfully, this quality carries over for the most part into the gameplay. 24: Special Ops provides a textbook example of how film and TV licences should be approached.”

24: Special Ops features a host of anti-terrorist tasks, including bomb defusing, code breaking, lock picking and stealth, along with the series’ trademark action sequences like car chases, shootouts and military encounters.
